Diorama Construction SiteLarge Cable Reel(Ref. 632D)1:18

The large cable reel by MyPortal Studios adds a distinctive construction-site and workshop detail to dioramas and model-building projects. It is available in scales 1:18, 1:20, 1:22.5, 1:24, 1:32, and 1:35 and can be used as a focal point or an additional accessory in a variety of miniature scenes.

The object consists of a cylindrical reel body with two round side discs. Individual cross slats create pronounced grooves across the winding surface; a square axle socket with visible fasteners is set in the center. Its distinctive shape and textured surface give the impression of a functional cable reel without requiring any additional accessories.

Depending on the scale, the reel can be placed in different areas of a scene. The following suggestions offer inspiration for suitable model-building settings:

• 1:18: Placed in a garage diorama beside a workbench or against the wall of a model workshop, it complements a scene focused on repairs and crafts.
• 1:20: As a construction-site detail on an architectural model construction site, near a barrier or at the edge of an unfinished street scene.
• 1:22.5: In a garden railway landscape at the edge of a small station or beside a building whose surroundings are being renovated.
• 1:24: In a street diorama, placed on the pavement in front of a workshop building as part of a lively city or infrastructure scene.
• 1:32: In a Gauge 1 landscape, beside an operations building or at a worksite along the track, as a striking construction-site feature.
• 1:35: Placed in a workshop scene against a wall or near a work area, it suits a vehicle diorama with a craft-focused setting.

Supplied as an unpainted model-building object by MyPortal Studios, it is suitable for customizing and incorporating into your own setting. It is not a toy. The suggested settings and additional scene accessories are not included.
