The Type A fire hydrant is a precision diorama piece for convincing street, urban, and outdoor scenes. As a miniature hydrant, it adds a distinctive public infrastructure detail to model cityscapes, street dioramas, and tabletop terrain.
The model depicts a freestanding hydrant with a segmented cylindrical lower body and a broad base. Its ribbed, domed bonnet has a central square fitting; side outlets and a front-facing cap with star-shaped screw details emphasize its robust, technical cast appearance.
