The traffic signal pole from MyPortal Studios adds a distinctive detail to road, city, and infrastructure dioramas for realistic traffic scenes. This physical decorative item is available in scales 1:18, 1:20, 1:22,5, 1:24, 1:32, and 1:35, and works well as a focal point at an intersection, in front of a building, or along a miniature street.
The tall, slender pole stands on a cone-shaped base. Compact signal housings with three round lights arranged vertically are mounted at the top. The traffic lights are positioned on both sides and face multiple directions; a rounded cap and fine housing details emphasize the technical character. The clear silhouette and recurring round shapes make the traffic signal a readily recognizable feature of an urban setting.
Depending on the scale, the pole can be incorporated into a variety of model-making settings. The following suggestions show specific placement options:
- 1:18: At a busy intersection in a garage diorama, beside the road as an urban landmark.
- 1:20: In an architectural model, in front of the entrance to a modern building, as part of a carefully detailed street scene.
- 1:22,5: At a garden railway level crossing, beside the road connection as a detail in a small station scene.
- 1:24: On the outskirts of a dollhouse town, at the corner of a miniature street near a small square.
- 1:32: Beside an access road in a Gauge I landscape, where the signal marks an intersection at the entrance to the town.
- 1:35: At the edge of a vehicle diorama, right beside a street corner as a distinctive feature of an urban scene.
The traffic signal pole is an unpainted model-making item designed by MyPortal Studios. It is not a toy. The suggested settings and additional scene accessories are not included.
