This miniature figure of a racing driver combines an upright stance with both hands gripping the zipper of his one-piece racing suit, making it a model figure for dioramas and model building. Tall lace-up boots and a wristwatch complete the look. Available in 1:10, 1:12, 1:14, 1:16, 1:18, 1:20, 1:22,5, 1:24, 1:32, 1:35, 1:43, 1:48, 1:50, and 1:64.
You can buy this figure in the miniatures shop and stage the racing driver in a paddock or beside a Slotcar racetrack. It also makes a fitting addition to a motorsport scene in a model garage or at the roadside.
Which scale suits which model-building project? The following applications show how to place the racing driver to suit each model world.
- 1:10 The racing driver adds a paddock figure to an RC model car or RC diorama at the roadside or in front of a model garage.
- 1:12 The racing driver can be staged as part of a motorsport scene beside an RC model car or in a miniature room or small model garage.
- 1:14 The racing driver can bring a loading yard or rest stop to life beside an RC truck; a paddock also makes a good addition to a truck diorama.
- 1:16 The racing driver adds to an RC truck or RC model-building scene in a commercial vehicle setting, such as at the roadside in a depot.
- 1:18 The racing driver can be placed as a paddock figure alongside a diecast collection next to a model car or in a garage diorama.
- 1:20 The racing driver adds to a miniature setting as part of a street diorama, perhaps in front of a building or beside a model car.
- 1:22,5 The racing driver can be placed as a figure at a motorsport gathering near a station forecourt or Gauge II layout in a garden railway scene.
- 1:24 The racing driver adds a paddock figure to a model garage next to a model car or at a Slotcar track.
- 1:32 The racing driver can stand trackside as a figure around a Slotcar racetrack; a Gauge I scene can also be brought to life this way.
- 1:35 The racing driver can be staged as part of a small paddock diorama in a civilian workshop scene or next to a vehicle model.
- 1:43 The racing driver adds to a motorsport-themed street or garage scene next to a model car or in a diecast diorama.
- 1:48 The racing driver can add to a vehicle diorama for a US O scale layout, perhaps at the roadside or around a model railway station.
- 1:50 The racing driver can be staged in a square or in front of a building, next to a commercial vehicle model or in a city model.
- 1:64 The racing driver adds to a diecast diorama next to a model car, for example as a figure at the edge of a small racetrack.
