This medium-sized treasure chest is a striking piece of diorama storage accessory for detailed model-making scenes. As miniature storage, it complements rustic storage areas, trading posts or a lively market scene, and makes an eye-catching display for valuables, provisions or secret finds.
The rectangular body has a domed lid with clearly defined plank detailing. Wide fittings with visible rivets visually reinforce the sides and lid. A central hasp with a round keyhole sits on the front, giving the treasure chest its robust, handcrafted character.
The choice of scales allows it to be used in a range of diorama and model scenes:
- 1:18 is a good choice for large-format dioramas, detailed model scenes and collectors’ display cases.
- 1:20: Suitable for dioramas, specialist modelling and detailed collectors’ display cases.
- In 1:22,5 - Spur 2 scale, this piece is well suited to garden railway scenes, Spur II dioramas and landscape design.
- 1:24 - Spur H can be used in dioramas, model-making scenes and display cases.
- 1:32 - Spur 1 is a suitable size for Spur 1 dioramas, model railway scenes and landscape design.
- 1:35 is well suited to classic dioramas, plastic modelling and detailed model scenes.
