The medium-sized treasure chest by MyPortal Studios adds a striking storage detail to dioramas and scale-model scenes. It is available in scales 1:18, 1:20, 1:22,5, 1:24, 1:32, and 1:35 and can be incorporated into a variety of miniature worlds.
The rectangular body has a domed lid with clearly defined planks. Wide fittings with visible rivets decorate the sides and lid; a central hasp with a round keyhole sits on the front. The textured surfaces and handcrafted-looking details give the chest a sturdy character without prescribing a particular paint scheme.
Depending on the scale, the treasure chest can be placed in different settings. The following ideas offer inspiration for your scene:
- 1:18: As recovered loot resting on a crate in a pirate camp scene in a garage diorama, alongside other finds.
- 1:20: Inside a scale-model warehouse, on a low shelf as stored treasure near the entrance.
- 1:22,5: As a recovered treasure chest at the landing of a garden railway harbor, on the quay among barrels and cargo.
- 1:24: On a bench in the captain's cabin of a ship diorama, as a focal point in a nautical interior scene.
