This unpainted animal figure depicts a Southern Cassowary, also known as a Double-wattled Cassowary, in a resting pose. The bird lies on the ground with its legs bent, while its neck and head are held upright. This natural pose is particularly suitable for tranquil jungle and wildlife scenes.
As a miniature for dioramas, model making and collections, the resting cassowary can be used in many ways. It complements tropical landscapes, animal enclosures and natural history scenes, and can also be displayed as a standalone collector's piece in a display case.
The figure is available in scales 1:18, 1:20, 1:22.5, 1:24, 1:32, 1:35, 1:43, 1:48 and 1:50. This allows it to be selected to match different model worlds, figure ranges and existing dioramas.
The surface is supplied unpainted and provides a suitable base for an individual painting project. Colours, shading and the design of the surroundings can therefore be adapted to the respective creative concept. This animal figure is intended for adult collectors, model makers and hobbyists and is not a children's toy.
The Southern Cassowary is a large, flightless ratite with an appearance reminiscent of emus and ostriches.

We deliver most of our items with support structures . This protects the figures from damage during transport. You can remove the supporting structures with fine pliers or carefully by hand.
