This insect rider on giant mantis is an expressive tabletop miniature in 28mm scale that immediately stands out with its dynamic composition. The massive insect creature stands wide-legged and crouched, its large veined wings extended back as if ready to leap at any moment. The stout thorax carries a massive armor plate; above it is a makeshift harness of straps and knots, which the humanoid rider clings to. The creature raises its long, sickle-shaped pincers - like blades - while pronounced mandibles snap forward. Everything about this chitin beast suggests tension: segmented body, multiple pairs of articulated legs, poised stance. The rider himself crouches low over the beast's neck, staying close as if every movement matters. A thorny or knobby mask or helmet emphasizes the gaunt proportions. Torn wraps and fluttering ribbons add dynamic accents; a belt with small pouches and claw-like gloves complete the rider figure. The surface features fine details - from the veined membrane of the wings to the hard chitin armor and fabric fringes to leather straps - providing clear points of reference for painting. The textured base with scattered branches, debris, and uneven ground supports diorama basing and ensures an immediately playable appearance on the table. As an unpainted miniature, this model is aimed at hobby painters, wargaming and skirmish fans, as well as collectors looking for a striking fantasy miniature with a mount. Usable in 28mm scale, the tabletop figure is suitable for battle boards, role-playing scenes, or as a standout display piece. The combination of rider and chitin beast conveys a strong boss monster look without being tied to specific rule sets - a powerful centerpiece for armies, encounters, or dioramas. Developed with modern 3D technology, the model impresses with sharp details and clear edges that facilitate painting and allow for depth in results - from contrasting armor plates to fine wing veining. The figure is delivered unpainted and ready for individual color schemes, aging effects, and personal touches. This tabletop miniature is not suitable for children and is aimed at experienced collectors and wargame enthusiasts who value quality, character, and detail.
