This miniature grain sack adds convincing miniature provisions to rural storage and market scenes. This diorama accessory depicts a bulging sack of supplies for storage, trade or transport, creating a convincing focal point in scale-model dioramas and collectors’ displays.
The model has a wide, flat base and a slightly tapered, irregularly shaped sack. The gathered top is closed with a tied fabric end, while fine folds and a suggested coarse woven texture evoke a filled sack of provisions. As miniature transport cargo, it is especially well suited to barns, storage areas and lively market scenes.
The following scale guide can help you choose the right size for your planned scene:
- At scale 1:18, this item is well suited to model car dioramas as well as street and workshop scenes.
- 1:20 works well for dioramas, specialty modeling and detailed collectors’ displays.
- 1:22,5 - Spur 2 is a suitable size for garden railway scenes, Spur II dioramas and landscape modeling.
- 1:24 - Spur H is well suited to model car dioramas as well as street and vehicle scenes.
- 1:32 - Spur 1 is a good choice for Spur 1 dioramas, model railway scenes and landscape modeling.
- 1:35: Suitable for vehicle dioramas, plastic modeling and realistic model scenes.
The grain sack is supplied as an unpainted model-making accessory and can be finished to your preference. It is intended for dioramas, model making, tabletop scenes or display cases. Not a toy.
