This large open treasure chest is a striking piece of diorama storage accessory for atmospheric model-making and display scenes. As miniature cargo, it creates a convincing focal point in storage areas, at market stalls or in adventure-themed scenes.
The rectangular chest has a distinctly arched, open lid. Irregular wood grain, simulated metal bands running lengthwise and across the sides, rivets, hinges and a central clasp give the model a sturdy, detailed appearance. The chest and lid are made separately and can be positioned individually when setting up the scene.
The following scale guide can help you find the right place for the open treasure chest in your model scene:
- 1:18 can be used in large-scale dioramas, detailed model scenes and collector display cases.
- 1:20 is a suitable size for dioramas, specialist model-making and detailed collector display cases.
- 1:22,5 - Spur 2 is well suited to garden railway scenes, Spur II dioramas and landscape modelling.
- 1:24 - Spur H is a good choice for dioramas, model-making scenes and display cases.
- 1:32 - Spur 1: Suitable for Spur 1 dioramas, model railway scenes and landscape modelling.
