This sturdy miniature crate with lid is versatile diorama storage accessory for creating believable storage, transport and market scenes. The compact wooden crate complements miniature goods in rural farmyards, at market stalls or beside parked vehicles, quickly creating a lively, functional scene.
Vertical planks, sturdy corner and cross braces, and diagonal bracing give the crate a roughly constructed appearance. Suggested nails and an uneven wood surface add depth. The separately depicted lid expands the design possibilities, making the crate look like either a closed transport container or a piece of stored cargo.
The range of scales supports different model-making projects and detailed scenes:
- 1:18 can be used in model car dioramas, street scenes and workshop scenes.
- 1:20 is a suitable size for dioramas, special model-making projects and detailed collector displays.
- 1:22,5 - Spur 2 is well suited to garden railway scenes, Spur II dioramas and landscape design.
- 1:24 - Spur H is a good choice for model car dioramas, street scenes and vehicle scenes.
- 1:32 - Spur 1: Suitable for Spur 1 dioramas, model railway scenes and landscape design.
- At scale 1:35, this piece is ideal for vehicle dioramas, plastic model kits and realistic model scenes.
The item is supplied unpainted as a model-making accessory and can be painted or weathered to your preference, or integrated into an existing tabletop scene or display case. Not a toy.
