Crates Covered with a Tarp add convincing stored goods to workshop, garage and storage scenes. This compact diorama accessory enhances model-making, tabletop settings and display cases with a detailed stack of protected boxes.

Several solid crates form the rectangular base, while a loosely draped tarp with irregular folds and overhanging edges covers the load. Wide securing straps run horizontally and vertically around the stack, giving these miniature stored goods a convincingly packaged appearance.

Here is an overview of the available scales and their uses:

  • 1:18: The crates covered with a tarp add a convincing storage detail to large-scale miniature rooms, interior scenes or collector display cases.
  • 1:20: This miniature adds a protected storage area to dioramas, special model-making projects and detailed collector display cases.
  • 1:22,5 - Spur 2: In garden railway scenes, Spur II dioramas or landscape layouts, the covered crate load looks like stored goods set aside.
  • 1:24 - Spur H: The covered crates add a practical storage detail to dollhouses, miniature rooms and detailed interior scenes.
  • 1:32 - Spur 1: Set aside as stored goods, this miniature enhances Spur 1 dioramas, model railway scenes or landscape layouts.
  • 1:35: Classic dioramas, plastic model-making and detailed model scenes can be convincingly enhanced with this stack of covered crates.

This model-making accessory is supplied unpainted and can be painted, weathered or finished with dust effects to your preference. Suitable for dioramas, model-making, tabletop settings and display cases. Not a toy.

Product Notes

The support structures remain on the figures for safe transport. These can be removed with fine pliers or carefully by hand. The figures can be gently heated with a hair dryer to facilitate release. Further information can be found in the FAQs .
