This closed wooden crate is a versatile diorama accessory for storage, workshop and transport scenes. The sturdy miniature crate complements scale model layouts, tabletop settings and display cabinets with believable stored goods, creating a functional, ground-level focal point.
The elongated model features a sturdy rectangular crate shape with a flat lid. Rough planks, overlapping reinforcing strips, visible nail or bolt details and angular corner fittings give the crate a handcrafted, heavy appearance. Inset side panels emphasize its character as a container for workshop, mechanical or spare parts.
Here is an overview of the uses for the available scales:
- 1:18: The closed wooden crate complements large-scale miniature rooms, interior scenes and collector display cabinets as rustic stored goods.
- 1:20: In dioramas, special model building or detailed collector display cabinets, the wooden crate adds a handcrafted accent.
- 1:22,5 - Spur 2: This miniature makes a fitting piece of cargo for garden railway scenes, Spur II dioramas and landscape design.
- 1:24 - Spur H: The closed wooden crate adds a rustic detail to dollhouses, miniature rooms and detailed interior scenes.
- 1:32 - Spur 1: As stored goods, the crate enhances Spur 1 dioramas, model railway scenes and designed landscapes.
- 1:35: Classic dioramas, plastic model building and detailed model scenes can be suitably furnished with this miniature crate.
The model-making piece is supplied unpainted and provides a finely crafted base for custom painting, weathering and finishing. Ideal for dioramas, model making, tabletop settings or display cabinets. Not a toy.

The support structures remain on the figures for safe transport. These can be removed with fine pliers or carefully by hand. The figures can be gently heated with a hair dryer to facilitate release. Further information can be found in the FAQs .
