This fern sprig with leaf cluster is a delicate addition to diorama greenery, model-making landscapes and detailed miniature scenes. With its slender branch shape and dense foliage, it adds a natural-looking accent to urban scenes, leafy corners around houses and small apartment dioramas.
The straight, subtly textured branch carries finely divided fern fronds at its tip. Numerous small leaflets grow on both sides of curved leaf stems, forming a bushy, organic silhouette. This makes the model especially suitable as a standalone plant sprig or as part of denser ground cover.
Here is an overview of how the available scales can be used:
- 1:18: The fern sprig adds a natural accent to large-scale dioramas, detailed model scenes and collectors’ display cases.
- 1:20: In dioramas, specialist model-making projects and detailed collectors’ display cases, the miniature adds greenery to scenes.
- 1:22,5 - Spur 2: For garden railway scenes, Spur-II dioramas and landscaping, the fern sprig is well suited as fine vegetation.
- 1:24 - Spur H: In dioramas and model scenes, or on display in a case, the miniature adds a botanical accent.
- 1:32 - Spur 1: The fern sprig can be used to add landscaping detail to Spur-1 dioramas and model railway scenes.
- 1:35: In classic dioramas, plastic modelling and detailed model scenes, the miniature provides natural-looking foliage.

The support structures remain on the figures for safe transport. These can be removed with fine pliers or carefully by hand. The figures can be gently heated with a hair dryer to facilitate release. Further information can be found in the FAQs .
