This mortar bowl is a distinctive diorama kitchen accessory for the miniature kitchen. The heavy, rounded vessel adds a convincing touch to cooking, storage and household scenes in model making, and makes an appealing accent on kitchen counters, shelves or tables as a small working utensil.

The sturdy, bulbous body rests on a low, wide base and has a distinctly rounded rim with a recessed interior. Its shape recalls a traditional stone mortar and suits scenes where ingredients are crushed, mixed or set out.   • 1:20 is a suitable size for dioramas, specialty model making and detailed collectors’ display cases.
  • 1:22,5 - Spur 2 is well suited to garden railway scenes, Spur II dioramas and landscape modelling.
  • 1:24 - Spur H is a good choice for dollhouses, miniature rooms and detailed interior scenes.
  • 1:32 - Spur 1: Suitable for Spur 1 dioramas, model railway scenes and landscape modelling.
  • At scale 1:35, this piece is ideal for classic dioramas, plastic model making and detailed model scenes.

The model is supplied unpainted, leaving plenty of room for custom colours, weathering and surface effects. It is a detailed model-making accessory for dioramas, tabletop scenes or display cases. Not a toy.

Product Notes

The support structures remain on the figures for safe transport. These can be removed with fine pliers or carefully by hand. The figures can be gently heated with a hair dryer to facilitate release. Further information can be found in the FAQs .
