This rustic wooden bucket is a versatile diorama storage accessory for miniature scenes, model-making settings and detailed diorama interiors. This distinctive utility vessel adds authenticity to work, storage and living areas, bringing a handcrafted touch to small-scale scenes.
The open bucket has upright, roughly textured staves, two wooden hoops around the sides and a sturdy crossbar handle between side brackets. Its visible depth and irregular surface give the piece a rustic character. As miniature storage, it would fit, for example, in a blacksmith’s scene, a country farmyard or a pantry corner.
The following scale guide will help you choose the right size for your planned scene:
- At scale 1:18, this piece is well suited to larger miniature scenes, interior settings and collector’s display cabinets.
- 1:20 works well in dioramas, specialist model-making projects and detailed collector’s display cabinets.
- 1:22,5 - Spur 2 is a suitable size for garden railway scenes, Spur II dioramas and landscaping.
- 1:24 - Spur H is well suited to dollhouses, miniature scenes and detailed interior settings.
- 1:32 - Spur 1 is a good choice for Spur 1 dioramas, model railway scenes and landscaping.
- 1:35: Suitable for classic dioramas, plastic model building and detailed model scenes.
