This highly detailed large waste container with refuse and wheeled base brings convincing miniature infrastructure to any city diorama. The open waste container adds an everyday, characterful detail to model streets and street scenes in urban miniature settings.

The slightly tapered container has a reinforced upper rim, side attachments and an open lid. Inside, full rubbish bags and loose waste are visible. The elongated base with small swivel casters adds to the scene and allows for a particularly lively depiction of waste collection, backyards or commercial outdoor areas.

The scale overview shows suitable uses for model making, display cases and realistic scene design:

  • 1:18 is a suitable size for model car dioramas, street scenes and workshop scenes.
  • 1:20 is well suited to dioramas, special modelling projects and detailed collector display cases.
  • 1:22,5 – Spur 2 is a good choice for garden railway scenes, Spur-II dioramas and landscape design.
  • 1:24 – Spur H: Suitable for model car dioramas, street scenes and vehicle scenes.
  • At scale 1:32 – Spur 1, the item is ideal for Spur-1 dioramas, model railway scenes and landscape design.
  • 1:35 can be used for vehicle dioramas, plastic modelling and realistic model scenes.

The model is supplied unpainted and provides a clean base for custom weathering, painting and finishing. This is a detailed modelling accessory for dioramas and display cases – not a toy.

Product Notes

The support structures remain on the figures for safe transport. These can be removed with fine pliers or carefully by hand. The figures can be gently heated with a hair dryer to facilitate release. Further information can be found in the FAQs .
