Pin-up and Promotional Models – 6 Resin Figures in a Complete Set

Set No. S64 contains six differently posed women in pin-up and promotional styles. Elegant dresses, hats, classic hairstyles, as well as standing and seated poses offer varied options for trade fair, stage, exhibition and vehicle dioramas. The figures are supplied unpainted in resin and with support structures. The coloured illustrations show the sculpted details.

• PinUp Girl A - Pretty Lady with Dress (Ref. No. 382): Standing lady in a close-fitting dress and high shoes, with crossed legs and arms bent at the sides.
• PinUp Girl B - Pretty Lady Leaning Old-Fashioned Style (Ref. No. 383): Lady in high-waisted trousers, a knotted top and suspenders, which she holds with both hands.
• PinUp Girl C - Pretty Lady Bowing with Hat (Ref. No. 384): Lady leaning forward to the side with a large hat, short bottoms and one hand near her face.
• PinUp Girl D - Pretty Lady Sitting Old-Fashioned Style (Ref. No. 385): Seated lady in a short dress and high shoes, with crossed legs and one hand on her hip.
• PinUp Girl E - Pretty Lady with Hat (Ref. No. 386): Standing lady in a one-piece swimsuit with decorative trim and a wide-brimmed hat.
• PinUp Girl F - Pretty Lady Sitting (Ref. No. 394): Seated lady in a short sleeveless dress with a flower decoration in her hair and one raised hand by her face.

Practical Uses

• For a garage diorama with a model car, the standing figures A, B, C and E are particularly suitable as eye-catchers next to a vehicle or display area.
• In a trade fair, showroom or promotional scene, the complete set can be arranged as a varied group of models with different directions of gaze and body postures.
• For a racing or paddock display, the figures can be combined with suitable vehicle models in the same scale. The lively poses support a staged presentation scene.
• The seated figures D and F suit stage, spectator or photo scenes, provided a suitable seating edge or diorama surface is added. Such a base is not included in the set.
• Individual figures are also suitable as decorative collector figures for display cases, while the complete set enables a cohesive pin-up scene.

Scale Selection

1:18 is suitable for large model cars, detailed garage and display case scenes. 1:20 suits larger dioramas and special models. 1:22.5 is ideal for large-format figure and exhibition scenes. 1:24 is a good choice for classic model car and showroom dioramas. 1:32 suits vehicle, racing and paddock scenes in this scale. 1:35 is suitable for vehicle dioramas and plastic model making. 1:43 complements compact model car and die-cast displays. 1:48 is suitable for smaller vehicle and event scenes. 1:50 suits architectural, trade fair and city models with depicted people. 1:64 is suitable for especially compact model car and die-cast dioramas.

This is a model-making accessory and not a toy. Before painting, the resin figures must be separated from their support structures and finished accordingly.
