The mortar bowl by MyPortal Studios is a small kitchen detail for dioramas, dollhouses, and other model-building scenes. It works as a container for ingredients, an eye-catching feature on a work surface, or an addition to a carefully furnished miniature kitchen. This unpainted object is available in scales 1:18, 1:20, 1:22,5, 1:24, 1:32, and 1:35.

Its shape features a sturdy, rounded body on a low, wide base. A clearly rounded rim frames the recessed interior. The design evokes a traditional stone mortar and suits scenes involving crushing or mixing ingredients. Its simple vessel shape fits into a variety of kitchen and craft scenes.

The following styling ideas show how the mortar bowl can stand out in different model-building worlds:

  • 1:18: In a garage diorama, the mortar bowl sits on a small side table in the corner of a furnished breakroom kitchen.
  • 1:20: In an architectural model setting, it complements the work surface of an open-plan miniature kitchen in a home.
  • 1:22,5: In a garden railway scene, the bowl can be placed on the sales table of a small herb stall at the station.
  • 1:24: In a dollhouse, the bowl fits on the sideboard of a cozy kitchen, among the other miniature vessels.
  • 1:32: A Gauge 1 landscape can feature it on a low table in the kitchen of a rural station building.
  • 1:35: For a workshop scene, consider placing it on a shelf in a small herb and spice workshop.

You will receive an unpainted model-building object designed by MyPortal Studios; it is not a toy. The settings described and additional scene accessories are styling suggestions and are not included.
