This miniature figure depicts a sailor or dock worker mooring a ship. Wearing a short jacket, cap, loose trousers and heavy work shoes, the model holds a thick mooring rope diagonally across the body. The wide stance, slightly leaning-back posture and sideways glance towards the ship convey the controlled tension of the moment. A striking addition for maritime dioramas and scale model scenes.
