This fantasy miniature from Rescale Miniatures features a horned warrior as a shield-bearing swordsman - a striking tabletop figure in 28 mm scale. The warrior stands with a wide stance, weight noticeably shifted forward, torso twisted, and head slightly lowered beneath the full helm. The helm bears upward-facing horns and a narrow eye slit, giving the silhouette an uncompromising, dark appearance. In front of the body lies a round shield at the ready: made of planks, with metal fittings, visible rivets, a central boss, and emblem - detailed enough to convincingly showcase wood grain, edge wear, and metallic sheen when painted. In the right hand, the warrior wields a broad, angular sword with engraved lines and a strong crossguard, clearly defined for sharp light edges and targeted weathering effects. Straps run over the muscular torso, tassets and a loincloth end in frayed edges. Arm guards, shin guards, and knee pads are adorned with decorative lines; a sturdy belt with plates and straps, along with heavy, sandal-like boots, complete the armor.
