The elongated sandbag by MyPortal Studios adds a distinctive accessory detail to military dioramas and other model-making scenes. This unpainted decorative item is available in scales 1:18, 1:20, 1:22.5, 1:24, 1:32, and 1:35 and can be used to create cover, trenches, or storage areas.
The model depicts an elongated, slightly flattened sack with irregularly rounded ends and indented sections at the closures. A coarse woven texture, folds and creases, and an uneven-looking fill give the surface a worn character. As a military-themed piece, the sandbag is particularly suited to barricades, defensive positions, and equipment areas.
Depending on the scale, the sandbag can be placed in different areas of a scene:
- 1:18: As cover beside a vehicle in a military diorama for a collector's display case.
- 1:20: At the edge of a modeled trench in a military miniature setting.
- 1:22.5: In front of a small garden railway landscape guard post, near the entrance to the position.
