The sandbag from MyPortal Studios adds a distinctive accent to defensive positions and complements military and landscape dioramas as a single piece of stored equipment or part of an arranged position. It is available in scales 1:18, 1:20, 1:22,5, 1:24, 1:32, and 1:35.
The elongated, slightly irregular object has tapered ends, softly rounded edges, and a curved top. Its coarse fabric texture, creases, and pressure marks make the sack look tightly filled. The design depicts a single sandbag that can be grouped with other matching pieces to create a defensive position.
The following scene ideas show how the different scales can fit into suitable model-making worlds:
- 1:18: Place it as an individual sandbag beside a fortified position in a military diorama, suitable for a detailed collector's display cabinet.
- 1:20: Arrange it at the entrance to a field camp in a miniature setting, for example beside a protected observation post.
- 1:22,5: Place it at the edge of a small defensive position in a Gauge II landscape, between the terrain and a protected entrance.
- 1:24: Arrange it beside a military position in a ship diorama; its elongated shape creates a clearly visible accent there.
