The sandbag from MyPortal Studios adds a versatile detail to military and landscape dioramas, for use in defensive positions, barricades, and trenches. It is available in scales 1:18, 1:20, 1:22,5, 1:24, 1:32, and 1:35, making it suitable for a range of model-making worlds.
The elongated, slightly flattened object tapers to a point at both ends. Its irregular creased texture makes the surface look like heavy, filled fabric. The understated design evokes a military sandbag fortification and works on its own or as part of a row of sandbags in a variety of scenes.
Depending on the scale, the sandbag can be placed in different parts of a miniature setting. The following suggestions offer inspiration for your scene:
- 1:18: In a military diorama, it can add to a defensive position at the base of a low barricade.
- 1:20: For a landscape diorama, consider placing it at the edge of a makeshift trench.
- 1:22,5: In a Gauge II terrain scene, it can form part of a row of sandbags beside a small observation post.
