The single sandbag by MyPortal Studios is a versatile decorative item for military dioramas and other model-making scenes. It is available in scales 1:18, 1:20, 1:22.5, 1:24, 1:32, and 1:35 and can be used as a protective wall, to fortify a trench, or as a distinctive detail in a defensive position.
Its soft, filled appearance is irregularly rounded and tapers slightly at the ends. A coarse, wrinkled fabric texture, suggested seams, and visible material folds give the surface a realistic, detailed look. The design depicts a single sandbag that can be placed on its own or featured as part of a defensive position.
The following scale suggestions show different ways to incorporate the sandbag into suitable model-making settings:
- 1:18: In a garage diorama, it marks makeshift cover at the edge of a staged training or action scene.
- 1:20: In an architectural model, place it in front of a building entrance as part of an improvised defensive position.
- 1:22.5: For a garden railway landscape, a small protective wall at the transition between the railway embankment and the terrain is a good fit.
- 1:24: In a military diorama, the sandbag can add to a trench position in a corner of the miniature setting.
- 1:32: In a 1 gauge landscape scene, position it at the edge of a field path as a single piece of cover.
- 1:35: For a vehicle diorama, it works as a protective detail beside a driveway or at the entrance to a position.

Product Notes
The support structures remain on the figures for safe transport. These can be removed with fine pliers or carefully by hand. The figures can be gently heated with a hair dryer to facilitate release. Further information can be found in the FAQs .
