Military DioramaPortable Cassette Radio as Military Modeling Accessory(Ref. 1747D)1:18

The portable cassette radio by MyPortal Studios adds a distinctive everyday detail to military, vehicle and interior dioramas. This model-building accessory is available in scales 1:18, 1:20, 1:22,5, 1:24, 1:32 and 1:35 and works as an eye-catching feature in a communications shelter or as a small furnishing detail in a carefully staged scene.

The wide, rectangular mini stereo has a folding carry handle and two large speakers with protective grilles. Small tweeters sit at the outer edges; the display, dials, buttons and cassette compartment are arranged in the center. Its recognizable shape and rendered surface details give it an authentic, functional look without suggesting a specific setting.

The following ideas show how the radio can be placed in different model-building settings at various scales:

• 1:18: In a garage diorama, the cassette radio can sit on a workbench and add a small workshop detail to a collector's display case.
• 1:20: In a military diorama, it could be placed on a shelf in a furnished communications shelter.
• 1:22,5: In a garden railway station scene, the radio can be set on a table in a break room as a subtle miniature detail.
• 1:24: In a ship diorama, the device can sit on a cabinet in a lived-in cabin, adding an everyday touch to the interior.
• 1:32: In a landscape diorama, the cassette radio can be placed on a table in a small field shelter as part of a military scene.
• 1:35: In a workshop scene, the model can sit on a shelf among tools and equipment, adding a personal detail to a vehicle diorama.

You will receive an unpainted model-building accessory by MyPortal Studios, intended for customization and use in your own dioramas. It is not a toy. Suggested settings and additional scene accessories are not included.
