The traffic light with three signal openings from MyPortal Studios brings a distinctive element of urban infrastructure to dioramas, architectural models, and model-making scenes. It is available in scales 1:18, 1:20, 1:22,5, 1:24, 1:32, and 1:35, and can be used as a striking focal point or as part of a carefully detailed street scene.
The object features three open, round signal housings arranged side by side at different heights. They are set into a wide, clearly defined base. Smooth surfaces, crisp edges, and circular recesses define its shape and offer a guide for custom painting or weathering. Its multi-part appearance resembles a street traffic light, making it recognizable as an urban traffic feature.
The following ideas show how the traffic light can be incorporated into different model-making settings to suit each scale:
- 1:18: As a focal point at the edge of a model car street scene, beside an intersection in a garage diorama.
- 1:20: At a junction in a miniature architectural model setting, adding emphasis to an urban street section.
- 1:22,5: Beside a level crossing or road in a garden railway landscape, as an urban landmark.
- 1:24: At the roadside in a model car diorama, near an intersection in a miniature town.
- 1:32: At the entrance to the pit lane of a Slotcar race track, as a distinctive detail in the track surroundings.
- 1:35: At a street corner in a vehicle diorama, suited to a workshop or city scene.
You will receive an unpainted physical model-making item from MyPortal Studios, not an STL download. It is intended as a decoration for model-making and dioramas and is not a toy. The suggested settings and additional scene accessories are not included.
