The spotted mushroom with gills by MyPortal Studios adds a striking natural accent to dioramas and model-building landscapes. This unpainted decorative object is available in scales 1:18, 1:20, 1:22,5, 1:24, 1:32, and 1:35 and works as a focal point beside a path, in a clearing, or among dense vegetation.
A sturdy, slightly tapered stem supports the broad, domed cap. Numerous raised spots cover its surface, while densely arranged gills are visible underneath. The irregular, wavy, drooping cap edge and organic bumps give the mushroom a fleshy, lifelike appearance. Its detailed forms provide a great basis for custom painting and weathering.
The mushroom can be incorporated into different model-building worlds to suit each scale. The following suggestions offer possible scenes and placements:
- 1:18: As an eye-catching woodland feature at the edge of an overgrown miniature room, beside a narrow path in a nature diorama.
- 1:20: In a natural-looking landscape model scene, on a mossy-looking slope near a small hiking trail.
- 1:22,5: As a colorful focal point in a garden railway clearing, at the foot of a low shrub beside the track.
- 1:24: In a dollhouse garden at the transition between a tended flower bed and a wilder corner, beside a miniature path.
- 1:32: As a mushroom cluster in a landscape diorama at the edge of a woodland, near a tractor model on a country lane.
- 1:35: As a striking detail on the ground beside a narrow path in a plastic model forest scene.
This unpainted model-making object was designed by MyPortal Studios and is not a toy. The suggested scenery and additional scene accessories are not included.
