The mobile light tower by MyPortal Studios adds a functional accent to construction site, street, and city dioramas. This technical decorative object is suitable for model making in the available scales 1:18, 1:20, 1:22.5, 1:24, 1:32, and 1:35, and can complement work scenes, outdoor areas, or nighttime settings.
The light tower stands on a trailer chassis with a jockey wheel and deployable stabilizer legs. Treaded tires, the hooded generator housing with ventilation grilles, the side exhaust area, and the joints and fasteners create a technical look. Adjustable spotlights complete the design, while the surfaces showcase the varied textures and shapes of the individual components.
Depending on the scale, the light tower can be incorporated into a variety of model worlds. These suggestions show suitable scenes and placements:
- 1:18: As construction site lighting beside a driveway in a garage diorama, complementing a nighttime work scene.
- 1:20: At the edge of a street diorama, where the mobile light tower sets the scene for nighttime roadwork in an architectural model.
- 1:22.5: Beside a garden railway station building, as a detail in an evening maintenance scene.
- 1:24: In front of a workshop in a miniature room, placed in a compact scene of nighttime repair work.
- 1:32: At the edge of a construction site in a landscape diorama, near a tractor model and a temporary work area.
- 1:35: Beside a damaged road in a vehicle diorama, as a light source for nighttime road repairs.
This unpainted model-making object was designed by MyPortal Studios and is not a toy. The scenes described are suggestions; additional scene accessories are not included.
