The window frame for a field shelter adds a distinctive façade detail to military and building dioramas, offering model makers an open window area for custom scene design. The building element is available in scales 1:18, 1:20, 1:22,5, 1:24, 1:32 and 1:35.
The single component features a large, fully open window area framed by multiple subtly profiled, stepped frame strips. It has no glazing or moving parts. The design works as a window detail for temporary accommodation, field shelters and other military-themed building scenes.
Depending on the scale, the window frame can be integrated into different model settings. The following ideas show possible placements in suitable scenes:
- 1:18: As a façade detail on a field shelter at the edge of a military diorama, next to a depicted supply area.
- 1:20: Fitted into the exterior wall of temporary accommodation in an architectural model of a temporary camp.
- 1:22,5: On the front of a remote guard post, as a striking building component in a Gauge II landscape scene.
