The three-pronged pitchfork by MyPortal Studios is a distinctive accessory for rural dioramas, farm models and miniature scenes. It is available in scales 1:18, 1:20, 1:22,5, 1:24, 1:32 and 1:35, adding a fitting accent beside a barn, stable or kitchen scene.

A long, straight handle leads to a sturdy fork head with three slightly splayed, pointed tines. Its simple shape recalls a farm tool used for loosening, lifting or moving hay, soil and stable litter. The surface has the look of a basic implement; the object works as a tool left against a farm wall or as a detail in a rural scene.

The following design ideas show how the pitchfork can fit into different model-making worlds at the appropriate scale:

  • 1:18: In a garage diorama, as a farm tool beside a model car, against the wall of a converted barn.
  • 1:20: In an architectural model, as a farm implement against the exterior wall of a rural outbuilding.

Product Notes

The support structures remain on the figures for safe transport. These can be removed with fine pliers or carefully by hand. The figures can be gently heated with a hair dryer to facilitate release. Further information can be found in the FAQs .
