Tabletop Miniature: Desert Rider on Sandstrider - an undead scout of the Nomad Cavalry in 28 mm scale. This fantasy miniature depicts a rider firmly in the saddle, leaning slightly forward. Both hands hold the reins, and the head hangs down under a deep hood, lurking. The mount, a long-necked, high-legged Sandstrider, strides forward with its neck raised - a calm, watchful step, as if patrolling inhospitable terrain. The rider appears parched and cloaked: a bony face is discernible under the hood. A long cloak drapes in clearly defined folds over layered travel garments, held by wide straps and belts. Pouches and gear hang readily at the body. A curved side sword is sheathed at the belt; additionally, a knife or tool is attached. Light protectors on the arms and shoulders, along with sturdy boots, complete the impression of an agile desert cavalry figure. The mount is equipped with saddle, bridle, and straps; a hood or veil frames the long skull. The base is textured and shows cracked, dry ground - ideal for emphasizing dust, sandy tones, and heat effects when painting.
