The rustic miniature bench by MyPortal Studios adds a sturdy, down-to-earth seating option to dioramas and model scenes. It is available in scales 1:18, 1:20, 1:22,5, 1:24, 1:32 and 1:35 and can be integrated into a variety of interior, architectural and landscape scenes.

The design features a long, thick seat supported by two solid side panels. A crossbar connects the side panels beneath the seat, highlighting the bench’s sturdy, simple shape. The surface has an irregularly hewn texture with pronounced grain. The bench can serve as a striking focal point in a miniature kitchen, hallway, barn or another country-style interior scene.

Depending on the scale and setting, the bench can be featured in different locations. Here are a few ideas:

  • 1:18: In a garage diorama, place the bench against the wall of a small workshop as seating in a break area.
  • 1:20: In an architectural model scene, place it in the hallway of a modest country house, next to a door.
  • 1:22,5: For a garden railway, use the bench as a rest stop at the edge of a small station forecourt.
  • 1:24: In a dollhouse, it works as rustic seating against a kitchen wall or beside a dining table.
  • 1:32: For a tractor model, the bench complements a rural landscape scene, for example at the edge of a barnyard.

Product Notes

The support structures remain on the figures for safe transport. These can be removed with fine pliers or carefully by hand. The figures can be gently heated with a hair dryer to facilitate release. Further information can be found in the FAQs .
