The electronic field shelter door from MyPortal Studios is a distinctive decorative and architectural piece for military dioramas and versatile model-building scenes. The closed door design with keypad is available in scales 1:18, 1:20, 1:22,5, 1:24, 1:32 and 1:35 and can be presented as an entrance to a shelter, communications room or secured facility.
The model depicts a tall, closed door with a sturdy surrounding frame and smooth door surface. A small viewing window sits in the upper section, with a raised electronic keypad mounted on the side. Its functional, technical design makes a clear statement on building facades and works well as a detail for field shelters, military facilities and other protected spaces.
The following design suggestions show how the door can be placed in different model-building settings:
- 1:18: In a military diorama, as an entrance to a secure communications room, set into the wall of a small shelter.
- 1:20: As an entrance to a secure facility in an architectural model setting, placed at the front of a field building.
- 1:22,5: For a garden railway scene, as the door to a remote observation post, on the side of a model shelter.
- 1:24: In a miniature room, as an entrance to a technical secure area, set into a plain interior wall.
- 1:32: As an entrance to a military facility in a landscape diorama, placed on a slope beside a fortified access point.
- 1:35: For a vehicle diorama, as an entrance to a field command post, set into the facade of a small building in the background.
You will receive an unpainted physical model-building piece designed by MyPortal Studios; this is not an STL download. The piece is not a toy, but is intended for creating dioramas and model-building scenes. Suggested settings and additional scene accessories are not included.
