The broken miniature barrel from MyPortal Studios adds a distinctive decorative detail to storage areas, markets, and transport settings in dioramas and model-building scenes. It is available in scales 1:18, 1:20, 1:22,5, 1:24, 1:32, and 1:35 and can be incorporated into a range of scenes as a damaged cargo container.

The barrel lies on its side and is made up of several curved staves, one of which sticks upright. Splintered break edges, visible grain, and irregular, weathered-looking surfaces define the piece. It works well as a discarded remnant in a storage area or as a sign of damaged cargo in a market scene.

Depending on the scale, the barrel fragment can be incorporated into a setting in different ways. The following examples offer ideas for suitable model-building scenes and placements:

  • 1:18: In a garage diorama, as a damaged cargo container beside the workbench or against the wall of a small storage room.
  • 1:20: In an architectural model scene, as a discarded barrel remnant at the edge of a courtyard storage area, beside a loading ramp.
  • 1:22,5: In a garden railway landscape, as damaged cargo in a freight yard near a station shed.
  • 1:24: In a dollhouse or miniature room, as a weathered storage detail at the entrance to a small storeroom.
  • 1:32: In a Gauge 1 landscape diorama, as the remains of a cargo barrel at the edge of a goods-handling area.
  • 1:35: In a vehicle diorama, as discarded stored goods beside a country road or at the entrance to a makeshift depot.

This unpainted model-building object was designed by MyPortal Studios and is not a toy. The settings shown or suggested and additional scene accessories are not included.
