MyPortal Studios’ tall barred gate creates a distinctive entrance in garden, park, and outdoor dioramas, and works as a building element in a variety of model-making settings. It is available in scales 1:18, 1:20, 1:22.5, 1:24, 1:32, and 1:35.

The rectangular outer frame surrounds numerous vertical bars, divided by several horizontal braces. A detailed lever handle with an elongated backplate, along with side mounting and hinge elements, defines the design. The clearly separated components and textured barred surface create a detailed appearance without prescribing a specific surface finish.

The following ideas show how the gate can fit into different model-making worlds at each scale:

  • 1:18: As an entrance to a fenced private garden beside a miniature room or collector’s display case.
  • 1:20: At the edge of an architectural model, separating a park path from an adjoining street diorama.
  • 1:22.5: As the entrance to a small station garden, placed on a path between the platform and the landscape model.

Product Notes

The support structures remain on the figures for safe transport. These can be removed with fine pliers or carefully by hand. The figures can be gently heated with a hair dryer to facilitate release. Further information can be found in the FAQs .
