The rowboat from MyPortal Studios adds a distinctive detail to dioramas, landscape models and maritime model-making scenes. It is available in scales 1:18, 1:20, 1:22,5, 1:24, 1:32 and 1:35 and can be displayed as a focal point on a shore, at a dock or in a suitable interior setting.
The pointed bow and straight, slightly angular stern frame the open interior. Surrounding gunwales, side rails and several crosswise bench seats define its shape. A subtle plank texture adds detail to the surface and provides a foundation for custom painting and weathering.
Depending on the scale, the boat can take on different roles in a model scene. Here are some suggestions:
- 1:18: In a ship diorama, the rowboat can be placed at the edge of a small harbor inlet.
- 1:20: A spot on the shore of a quiet lake, near a narrow landing, works well in a landscape diorama.
- 1:22,5: As a detail in a garden railway scene, the boat can sit beside a naturally landscaped pond.

The support structures remain on the figures for safe transport. These can be removed with fine pliers or carefully by hand. The figures can be gently heated with a hair dryer to facilitate release. Further information can be found in the FAQs .
