The fern plant with finely feathered fronds adds a natural accent to dioramas, model landscapes and other model-building settings. It is available in scales 1:18, 1:20, 1:22,5, 1:24, 1:32 and 1:35 and can be used as a single plant or as part of denser vegetation.
Numerous fronds fan out from a central base. Side shoots of varying lengths and an upright main frond create a lively silhouette, while the finely divided frond surfaces add texture to the plant design. At the base, the plant tapers into a small, conical foot, suitable for placing on the surface of a model landscape.
The following scene suggestions show how the fern can fit into different model-building settings at each scale:
- 1:18: As lush greenery at the edge of a miniature room, beside a small seating area or in a display case setting.
- 1:20: As a fern at the base of a modeled rock face, in a sheltered corner of a landscape diorama.
