The military field loudspeaker from MyPortal Studios adds a striking communications unit to military dioramas and other model-making scenes. This unpainted decorative item is available in 1:18, 1:20, 1:22,5, 1:24, 1:32 and 1:35 scales and can serve as a focal point or a functional-looking background detail.
The tall, slightly angled housing stands on a sturdy base. Two horn loudspeakers, facing in opposite directions, are mounted on top with brackets and supports. Small openings on the front and a recessed maintenance panel add to the practical, technical design. Its distinctive shape creates a clear military accent without suggesting a specific historical scene.
Depending on the scale and layout, the field loudspeaker can play different roles in a miniature setting. The following suggestions show possible scenes and placements:
- 1:18: As a public address system at the entrance to a barracks courtyard, placed beside the guard post in a military diorama.
- 1:20: As a striking landmark in an architectural model scene, at the edge of an improvised field camp.
- 1:22,5: As part of a military railway setting, on the platform beside a small guard building on a Gauge II garden railway.
- 1:24: As technical equipment in a ship diorama, mounted on the wall of an open deck area near the entrance to the interior.
- 1:32: As a loudspeaker system in a Gauge 1 landscape, on a post at the edge of a military-themed station.
- 1:35: As a detail in a vehicle diorama scene, beside the entrance to a field camp on an open patch of ground.
This unpainted model-making object was designed by MyPortal Studios and is not a toy. The depicted or suggested settings and additional scene accessories are not included.
