The folding stepladder from MyPortal Studios adds a familiar everyday detail to dioramas and model-building scenes depicting homes, workshops, or construction sites. This decorative object is available in scales 1:18, 1:20, 1:22,5, 1:24, 1:32, and 1:35, and fits into a variety of miniature worlds.
The motif depicts an open A-frame ladder with two opposing sections, flat steps, and a top platform. Side hinges and safety braces, along with foot caps, complete its functional silhouette. The simply styled surfaces emphasize its individual components, making the miniature a fitting focal point beside shelves, lights, or work areas.
The ladder can bring different areas of a scene to life depending on the scale. Here are a few specific placement ideas:
- 1:18: In a garage diorama, beside a tall shelf or workbench, as part of a tidy collector’s scene.
- 1:20: In an architectural model backdrop, against an interior wall near a built-in closet or high shelf.
- 1:22,5: In a garden railway station scene beside the building entrance, perhaps near a small maintenance area.
- 1:24: In a dollhouse, against a room wall beside a shelf, as a practical addition to a miniature kitchen or storage room.
- 1:32: In a 1-gauge landscape scene beside a small service building, near its entrance or an outdoor storage area.
- 1:35: In a workshop scene at a work surface or beside a wall shelf, as an additional detail in a vehicle diorama.
You will receive an unpainted model-building object designed by MyPortal Studios. It is not a toy. The pictured backdrops are suggestions for use; additional scene accessories are not included.
