The fern leaf by MyPortal Studios adds a clearly recognizable natural accent to dioramas and modeling scenes. It is available in scales 1:18, 1:20, 1:22,5, 1:24, 1:32 and 1:35, and works as a standalone focal point or as part of designed ground cover.

The stylized leaf consists of a long, gently curved central stem and closely spaced, paired leaflets. Softly rounded leaf segments give the surface a sculpted texture and make the fern motif stand out. A compact base at the bottom is designed for insertion into ground cover, terrain or a custom-built scene.

The available scales offer different ways to incorporate the fern leaf into a suitable miniature setting:

  • 1:18: In a garage diorama, the fern leaf can be placed at the edge of an overgrown courtyard, beside a wall or a planter.
  • 1:20: In a landscape model, the fern motif can be placed at the foot of a rock face or along a narrow path.
  • 1:22,5: In a garden railway scene, the leaf can create a transition between the embankment and the trackside, perhaps near a small underpass.
