The stack of cardboard boxes by MyPortal Studios adds a versatile detail to dioramas and model-making scenes, perfect for storage areas, workshops, or utility rooms. It is available in scales 1:18, 1:20, 1:22,5, 1:24, 1:32, and 1:35 and can be incorporated into a variety of miniature worlds depending on the scale chosen.

Several differently sized boxes are stacked irregularly, with some leaning to the side. Fold lines, lid flaps, and small pieces of tape define the visible surfaces and give the boxes the appearance of packed goods. A flat box on the ground completes the arrangement and creates a varied silhouette for storage corners, workbenches, or utility rooms.

The different scales offer ideas for a range of model-making and miniature settings:

  • 1:18: As a stack of goods beside a workbench in a garage diorama, near a model collector’s display case.
  • 1:20: In a small shipping or storage area in an architectural model, at the edge of a miniature setting.
  • 1:22,5: As stored freight in a storage room at a garden railway station, next to a model loading platform.
  • 1:24: In a busy dollhouse storage room, against a wall beside the entrance to the miniature room.
  • 1:32: As stacked freight in a small warehouse in a Gauge 1 scene, next to a model loading platform.
  • 1:35: As supplies in an improvised workshop scene, near the entrance to a vehicle diorama.

Product Notes

The support structures remain on the figures for safe transport. These can be removed with fine pliers or carefully by hand. The figures can be gently heated with a hair dryer to facilitate release. Further information can be found in the FAQs .
