The elongated sandbag from MyPortal Studios is a decorative model-making object for defensive positions, military dioramas, and miniature settings. It is available in scales 1:18, 1:20, 1:22,5, 1:24, 1:32, and 1:35, and can be placed on its own or used as part of an arranged sandbag position.
The slightly irregular, tightly filled shape has a flattened underside. Fine creases and small bumps define its roughly textured, crumpled surface. At the top, the sandbag is unevenly closed or folded over. This creates a straightforward defensive motif that fits into a variety of military scenes.
The following scene ideas show how the sandbag can be incorporated into a suitable model setting at each scale:
- 1:18: As part of an improvised barrier beside a checkpoint in a military or garage diorama.
- 1:20: In front of a small field position at the edge of a miniature setting, complemented by figures and terrain details.
- 1:22,5: At the entrance to a fortified guard post in a garden railway landscape, placed beside a path or building.

Product Notes
The support structures remain on the figures for safe transport. These can be removed with fine pliers or carefully by hand. The figures can be gently heated with a hair dryer to facilitate release. Further information can be found in the FAQs .
