The low sandbag defensive position by MyPortal Studios is a distinctive decorative piece for military dioramas and plastic modeling. It can be used to enhance a trench section, add structure to terrain, or serve as a standalone focal point in a collector's display case. The model is available in scales 1:18, 1:20, 1:22.5, 1:24, 1:32, and 1:35.
Several softly deformed sandbags are stacked on top of one another and set at different angles. Flattened bag ends, suggested closure areas, and a visible fabric texture define the surface. This low defensive position evokes a field fortification and can be planned as cover or as a distinctive detail in a military scene.
The following ideas show how the different scales can be incorporated into suitable model and diorama settings:
- 1:18: Place it in a military diorama as cover at the edge of a fortified courtyard entrance.
