The parabolic antenna with articulated base by MyPortal Studios is a detailed diorama accessory for military communications installations and mobile command scenes. This unpainted model accessory is available in scales 1:18, 1:20, 1:22.5, 1:24, 1:32, and 1:35, and makes a striking focal point in military and landscape dioramas.
The flat antenna dish sits on a central mast supported by several braces. The separate base consists of a round base plate and a conical stand with side bolts; it holds the antenna and emphasizes the assembly's modular design. Its clearly defined shapes and textured surface make it fitting communications equipment for a defensive position or mobile radio outpost.
Depending on the scale, the antenna can play different roles in a military scene. These suggestions show suitable placements:
- 1:18: As a communications installation beside a field command post in a military diorama, placed at the edge of a fortified position.
- 1:20: As a radio installation on an elevated observation point in a miniature setting, near a small shelter.
- 1:22,5: As a relay station on a remote access road in a landscape model, on an open area beside the checkpoint.
- 1:24: As equipment for a mobile communications station in a garage diorama, set beside an open maintenance area.
- 1:32: As part of a military radio station in a Gauge 1 landscape, positioned behind a low defensive position.
- 1:35: As a vehicle diorama's antenna installation, placed beside a camouflaged field quarters at the edge of the scene.
You will receive an unpainted model accessory by MyPortal Studios, not a toy. The settings and ideas mentioned are suggestions; additional scene accessories are not included.
