The single filled sandbag from MyPortal Studios is a compact decorative piece for dioramas, designed for fortifications, trenches, and small barricades. It works well as cover in military and landscape dioramas or as an additional detail in scale modeling. It is available in scales 1:18, 1:20, 1:22,5, 1:24, 1:32, and 1:35.
The sandbag has a plump, slightly wedge-shaped body with a flat base. The folded or tied-off end is visible, while the roughly textured fabric and subtle creases give it a weathered look. Its compact shape is suited to depicting a single sandbag used as cover beside a wall, in a trench, or near a small barricade.
Depending on the scale, the sandbag can be placed in a variety of model settings, for example:
- 1:18: As cover beside a low wall in a military diorama featuring a trench position.
- 1:20: At the edge of a raised path in a landscape setting with a field fortification.
- 1:22,5: Beside a small shelter in a garden railway scene with a military diorama.
- 1:24: In front of a building corner in a street scene, as a compact diorama barricade.
- 1:32: As part of a low position at the edge of a Gauge 1 landscape with a section of trench.
- 1:35: In a vehicle diorama, right beside a fortified position as additional cover.

Product Notes
The support structures remain on the figures for safe transport. These can be removed with fine pliers or carefully by hand. The figures can be gently heated with a hair dryer to facilitate release. Further information can be found in the FAQs .
