The rustic miniature chair by MyPortal Studios adds a distinctive furnishing to dioramas, model interiors and display cases. It is available in scales 1:18, 1:20, 1:22,5, 1:24, 1:32 and 1:35, making it easy to choose for a variety of miniature scenes.
The sturdy, slightly irregular seat rests on four nearly cylindrical legs. Low crossbars connect the legs and emphasize the solid form. Notch-like surface details evoke roughly worked beams and give the chair a rustic appearance. It suits a farmhouse kitchen, a miniature kitchen or a corner by a workbench.
The following scale suggestions show how the chair can fit into different model-making worlds:
- 1:18: As seating in a rustic garage diorama workshop, right beside the workbench.
- 1:20: In an architectural model scene, as a chair in a simple country-house kitchen, placed at a small dining table.
- 1:22,5: For a garden railway station scene, as seating in a rural waiting room, near the wall.
- 1:24: In a dollhouse, as a rustic kitchen chair beside the stove or at an open side of the table.
- 1:32: As a furnishing in a Gauge I landscape scene, in the living room of a small farmhouse.
- 1:35: In a workshop scene, as a roughly made work chair positioned right by the workbench.
This unpainted physical model-making object was designed by MyPortal Studios and is not a toy. The settings mentioned are provided as inspiration; additional scene accessories are not included.
