The wooden handcart by MyPortal Studios adds a versatile transport element to farm, market and storage dioramas and works as a decorative detail in model-making scenes. It is available in scales 1:18, 1:20, 1:22,5, 1:24, 1:32 and 1:35.

The cart features tall, irregularly crafted plank sides with visible crosspieces and rivets. A detailed axle hub, along with support and frame timbers beneath the box, gives it a handcrafted appearance. This rural transport motif makes a fitting setting for miniature crops, wood or other stored goods.

Depending on the scale, the handcart can be placed in a variety of scenes. These ideas suggest some possible uses:

  • 1:18: In a garage diorama, place the cart beside a model car on a paved farmyard as a piece of agricultural equipment.
  • 1:20: In an architectural model setting, place it at the entrance to a rural warehouse, for example beside an open loading door.

Product Notes

The support structures remain on the figures for safe transport. These can be removed with fine pliers or carefully by hand. The figures can be gently heated with a hair dryer to facilitate release. Further information can be found in the FAQs .
