The free-standing fern by MyPortal Studios adds a natural, delicate plant form to dioramas and model-making scenes. It is available in scales 1:18, 1:20, 1:22,5, 1:24, 1:32, and 1:35 and works as a focal point or as part of a planted miniature setting.
The motif features an upright central stem with numerous pairs of softly rippled leaflets. The leaves become smaller toward the top and end in a rounded tip. Curved structures at the base of the stem add to its organic appearance. Its finely detailed silhouette creates a distinct plant accent in nature and landscape scenes.
Depending on the scale, the fern can be placed in different parts of a model-making setting. The following ideas suggest possible locations:
- 1:18: As greenery at the edge of a miniature room, beside a plant pot in a collector’s display case.
- 1:20: As a single fern at the foot of a sculpted rock face in a landscape diorama.
- 1:22,5: As a plant accent beside a garden path or small bridge in a garden railway scene.
