The folded stepladder adds a compact accessory to workshop, craft, and construction site dioramas, suitable for maintenance areas, janitor’s corners, or unfinished interiors. The model is available in scales 1:18, 1:20, 1:22,5, 1:24, 1:32, and 1:35, and works well as a focal point or additional detail in model-building projects.
It features two closely folded ladder sections with several rungs, a wide top platform, and side hand openings. Hinges, connecting braces, and locking elements define the folding construction; foot caps finish the bottom of the ladder. The visible surfaces and components give the motif a utilitarian, robust appearance.
The ladder can be incorporated into different model-building worlds depending on the scale. The following ideas show possible scenes and specific placements:
- 1:18: In a garage diorama, the folded ladder can stand beside a workbench or against an empty wall.
- 1:20: In an architectural model construction site, it fits at the edge of an interior that has not yet been fully furnished.
- 1:22,5: For a garden railway station scene, a spot in the background of a small maintenance room would work well.
- 1:24: In a dollhouse or miniature room, the stepladder can stand beside a shelf in a storage or utility area.
- 1:32: In a 1-gauge landscape, the ladder can be placed against the side wall of a small service building.
- 1:35: Add a fitting craft detail to a vehicle diorama workshop scene by placing the ladder beside a maintenance area.
This unpainted physical model-building object was designed by MyPortal Studios and is not a toy. Suggested backdrops and additional scene accessories are for inspiration and are not included.
